In 2012 USDA's Nutrient Data Laboratory (NDL) removed the USDA ORAC Database for Selected Foods from the NDL website due to mounting evidence that the values indicating antioxidant capacity have no relevance to the effects of specific bioactive compounds, including polyphenols on human health.

Tja, dann sind es verschiedene Studien, denn ich habe darüber auch mehrmals online gelesen

Wenn ich mir so anschaue, wie der ORAC- Wert ermittelt wird, ist er letztendlich wenig Aussagekräftig. Er wird über eine chemische Reaktion in einem Reagenzglas bestimmt, was letztendlich in seiner Übertragbarkeit auf den Menschen sehr begrenzt ist..
